theres no light, theres no shine
theres nothing to define the darkest day.
and everywhere, people run, in this night-like time.

its getting cold
the sun is dead,
people on the streets with dread

theres the stars, and theres the moon,
but they provide no light or shine.
people dieing, others praying,
most just staring, at the mystifing sky
on the darkest day.

the water, has turned to ice
theres no light to melt it away
the fish no longer play
on the darkest day.

all the people of that day did die
they could've lived had they only realized,
that the darkness came from the inside.

It's not bad or anything, i kinda like it, but it's a tad morbid, don't you think?

yea, i do, i'm a very happy person though, and i wrote it last year, my newer songs are happier (for the most parts)
